As told by Estelle in the car…
“I want to tell Daddy of the story of a little girl.
One morning, this little girl decided to be a good little girl. She ate all her bread and drank all her milk. And she grew and grew until she was taller than her daddy. She was so tall her head hit the roof of the car!”
The poor darling is running a temperature. She’s been sporting the flushed cheeks and red lips since morning. I thought the low grade fever will subside after a dose of paracetamol, but looks like we might not be going to school tomorrow…
Estelle was rolling around on the bed when she discovered a photo album tucked under my pillow. So curious miss had to ask her mum what it was doing there…
Me: Oh, I look at your baby photos every night before I sleep cos I love you so much.
Much later… 5 minutes after she was kissed and tucked into bed, Estelle was caught reading in bed.
Me: Estelle! No reading after the lights are out.
E: But I have my light.
Me: No reading under the night light, there’s not enough light and you’re going to spoil your eyes.
E: But you read at night under your night light before you sleep.
Me: No I don’t.
E: Yes, you look at my baby photos every night before you sleep.
Well…
While princess fever continues, Estelle decided to be a fairy this afternoon after the discovery of her much forgotten fairy wings (Thanks to Aunty Audrey!)
Yes… she spent the afternoon digging out treasure after treasure from the cupboard under the clock. Well, at least it kept her busy.
2 lovely princesses after a long day being prim and proper at the Halloween Party… goodie bags stuffed full of sweets…

I finally found some time to try my hand at doing something I’ve been itching to try for ages… make my daughter a dress!
Yes… Estelle already has a wardrobe exploding with gorgeous clothes courtesy of her generous aunts… … but to have something her mum made?!!! Inspired by a creative friend and fellow SAHM (yes, we have heaps of time doing nothing around the house all day long.)
Ta dah!

It has a pocket (Estelle is obsessed with pockets at the moment) and it has nice large buttons for her to hone in her skills at buttoning herself.
